Refugee Marketplace

BRIEF: To design a marketplace for the emergency refugee camp in Berlin. The competition was run by IDeA and as a member of a five person team representing the University of Lincoln, an entry was submitted in February 2017. The marketplace was designed to have a limited impact upon the site, allowing for it to be packed up and moved elsewhere.The project was designed to be cheap and easy to produce. Our solution was to design a modular market stall that could be quickly and easily built utilising pre-cut timber to reduced costs.
