A collection of projects undertaken during my two years working for Wincer Kievenaar Architects Ltd. The practice is medium sized and works on a wide range of projects including residential, commercial and educational.
Bespoke New Build Dwelling and Barn Renovation - Brettenham, Suffolk
RIBA STAGES 02 - 05 - A bespoke new build dwelling located on a previously agricultural site. The site achieved planning permission in 2015 with the permission being enacted through the demolition of the existing barns in 2018. The site was later sold to the current owner who hired Wincer Kievenaar Architects to amend the proposed scheme to their requirements. Once the required Section 73, Discharge of Conditions and Non-Material Amendment applications for the required amendments were submitted and approved, work began on preparing the Tender Package. Following appointment of a main contractor, works began on site in April 2024.
Grade II Listed Extension - Hadleigh, Suffolk
RIBA STAGE 01 - 03 - Wincer Kievenaar were approached by the clients to re-work the ground floor of the existing townhouse. The internal layout was altered to allow better access to the rear garden.
